The dedicated Basketball Pro Fun Version is a single-door solution supporting one bill validator. The Redemption signage has been removed, and “how to play” decals are placed where ticket readouts reside on the original version. This simple repackaging is street-friendly and ideal for non-redemption locations requiring banknote and coin acceptance.

TIP! Add a cashless reader option to accept credit cards and mobile payments. Cashless payments on amusement machines are becoming more common and boost earnings.

Pound and Shoot!

Basketball Pro made its debut this past spring and amusement industry members are hailing Andamiro’s new game as a perfect fit for bars, yet appealing enough to be a main attraction in FEC’s. The game’s air-powered rubber ball interface allows players to control all their shots. The game’s two-player stations offer side-by-side competition or single play. Its two backboards move up and down as players propel mini balls at them with each pound. Score three points for every basket (six points in the final 10 seconds).

What this could mean?  I just returned from the MCMOA Michigan State Meeting where the Operators told me that the majority of their revenues come from operating jukeboxes and it has been a long time since there was a really good game for the street.  Well, Basketball Pro may just be that game. When I first saw Basketball Pro, I challenged Nick Montano of Andamiro and I had to practically pound my arm off to win that challenge (see if you can see if he let me win at the end).

Check out the video and you will see that initially, I thought the game looked pretty easy but as the time went on, it should be pretty obvious that I only had one game in me. For the rest of the people on the Planet, I would expect the looser of any one game challenge of Basketball Pro to say “How about best of three?” and that means more money in the cashbox and both players will certainly be thirsty and hungry!!!!!  And of course, the cheering spectators will want to join in and play.
