As reported by RePlay, “Fun Factor Fun Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia, is nearly finished with its extensive renovations, and one new attraction is already a big hit for them: The Spin Zone Z  tubeless bumper cars from Amusement Products.

“Installed in June, the fleet of five bumper cars occupies 474 sq. ft. of space, making them a popular attraction for operators, too. Amusement Products says it has high throughput in that relatively small footprint, and that the bumper cars are visually appealing with their variety of colors and flashing LED lights.

“They look great and the customers love them,” said Arthur Loring, general manager of Fun Factor. Complete packages of the Spin Zone Z bumper cars include custom-designed and installed arenas with wireless capability, lighting, sound and operator training. What this could mean? Spin Zone Z tubeless and lighted bumper cars are a great example of a small footprint workhorse attraction that can be a positive revenue enhancement to just about any type of FEC or even as a stand-a-lone-attraction. It is one of the few attractions that does not require high ceilings.

I have been reporting the consistent revenues of my 6-car Spin Zone in every issue of the Redemption & FEC Report since its inception. Spin Zone has always exceeded my 1:1 benchmark ration of annual revenue vs initial installed cost but my take is that Spin Zone Z will do better than that! And add to that the key point that this attraction holds its value, making it a great all-around investment. Also, note that Amusement Products is a proud gold sponsor of Foundations Entertainment University.
